Yes, the Romanian authorities have seized Andrew Tate's $2.9 million Buggati.
Andrew Tate has been one of the most talked about individuals to have come out of the realm of social media over the past year. His controversial opinions have made him a notorious figure online and the same resulted in him being banned from mainstream social media platforms last year.
But that was just the start of trouble for the former kickboxer. Back in December 2022, Tate along with his brother Tristan Tate was detained by the Romanian authorities on charges related to human trafficking and money laundering.
The authorities also went on to seize a number of cars from his car collection, including a $2.9 million Buggati Chiron. According to the authorities, they did so to sustain the cost of the investigation and also to fund the payments to the alleged victims if the Tate brothers are found guilty.

It is worth noting that Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate are still under police custody. They were originally detained for 24 hours, and the authorities were quick to extend it to 30 days. The authorities have extended their detention twice since then and the Tates are still in prison. While several attempts have been made by their team to get them out on bail, the same has been rejected by the authorities.
Did the police seize any other car besides Andrew Tate's Buggati?
As mentioned earlier, Romanian authorities seized Tate's Buggati Chiron as part of the ongoing investigation against him and his brother. However, unfortunately for him, his $2.9 million supercar wasn't the only car out of his car collection that was seized by the police.
Andrew Tate is said to own 33 cars, and out as per reports, 11 out of those cars were seized by the authorities. Cars taken from his property include two Ferraris, a Porsche, a Rolls Royce Wraith and an Aston martin Vanquish S Ultimate.
Apart from this, more than 10 properties and land owned by Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were seized by the Romanian police. While the authorities haven't sold off any of his properties or cars to recover the cost of investigating or compensating the alleged victims, they have also ruled against the appeal made by Tate's team against the seizure of his assets.
