Andrew Tate recently gave his followers a glimpse of his daily routine as he observes the holy month of Ramadan.

The controversial influencer announced his conversion to Islam in October last year, after being spotted in Dubai offering prayers at a mosque.

Since Tate was de-platformed from most social media sites back then, he took to Gettr, an American social media platform built on the promise of "free speech," to declare his newfound faith.

In a recent tweet posted on his Twitter handle, Andrew Tate described his daily routine behind bars during this time and summarized how he manages to fast while preventing insects from getting to his food. He wrote:

"My food comes at 8am, noon and 5pm. I have a plastic bag I use to try and protect the food from insects. I spend my entire day destroying the flies and ants who get close to the meal. In accordance w/ Ramadan, when the sun goes down, I eat the stone cold food in my cell by myself."

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is one of the most sacred times for Muslims. Followers of the Islamic faith observe a strict daily fast from dawn until sunset during this month till the day of Eid.

Andrew Tate's brother Tristan has been his sidekick since the beginning of his rise to notoriety and the two brothers are considered inseparable. Most 'Top G' videos and interviews often feature his younger brother and he has previously claimed that Tristan is his closest friend and confidante.

When news of Andrew Tate converting to Islam went viral, Tristan soon opened up about his take on his brother's religious choices. Tristan Tate claimed in a video:

"I knew about his thoughts, and you know, that way his heart was leaning for a long time... I’m very happy for my brother and the decision he made."

Andrew Tate and Tristan have now spent over two months in a Romanian prison after getting arrested at their place of residence during a raid carried out by the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT). The controversial figure and his brother have been arrested on suspicion of multiple crimes, including human trafficking and assault.

It was recently reported that their mandatory detention period will be extended for the third time and they will remain behind bars until the end of April.
