Translated to English, a SpyNews article surrounding the arrest reads:

"Yesterday he [Andrew Tate] was taken out of the Central Prison of the Capital Police and taken to a hospital because when he was incarcerated, according to the procedures, he was given a medical examination and the prison doctor asked him if he was suffering from certain ailments."

It continues:

"Based on this notification, yeterday he was taken to a specialist consultation in a hospital in the capital. Now, from my information, he is again in the central detention centre of the Capital Police. More details about the disease or about the condition or about something that follows, medically speaking, are not available this moment, they are confidential information."

Andrew Tate allegedly admits to money laundering

Towards the end of 2021, Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested by Romanian police on charges of sex trafficking, rape and conspiracy to form a criminal group.

While information on the evidence against the Tate brothers was initially limited, reports have emerged surrounding an apparently successful wiretap, during which they were allegedly caught admitting to their crimes.

A Digi24 article reports that one of the victims wore a wire and was able to record 'Cobra' explaining how he used women under his employment to move around "dirty" money, as well as other illegal practices.

Translated to English, Tate was allegedly recorded saying:

"You're not stupid and you can probably guess how I make so much money. I have to hide what I'm really doing... I've been doing this for a long time with a team of girls working on video chat. The company was fake, but this is how I laundered my dirty money. Some of the girls who worked for me... I used them to do other things. To move money or illegal things, documents, etc."
