Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in December 2022 following allegations of human trafficking, sexual assault, and connections to organized crime. They are currently still in jail.
It has now been revealed that the duo took legal action against one of the victims who accused them of sex trafficking. The accuser's legal team confirmed that they received a cease and desist letter from the Tate brothers in December, according to The Mirror.
'Cobra' has reportedly threatened to sue the woman and her family for $300 million for defamation.
A copy of the letter seen by the BBC states:

"In April 2022 you falsely stated to a third party that our Client human trafficked you, abused you and held you against your will. You have repeated false and defamatory statements to the police, the media, and another United States citizen about the Tate brothers."
Andrew Tate and his brother have been accused of using the defamation suit as an intimidation tactic by Benjamin Bull, a lawyer representing several accusers in the case.
The pair will be housed in jail until February 27 after their second appeal against detention was rejected. Despite the ongoing legal battle, 'Cobra' has remained stoic and recently took to Twitter to state this:
"Their lies are collapsing"

The situation surrounding the arrest of the pair of influencers remains a divisive issue. Some have called for the release of the brothers, while others appear pleased with their apprehension.
Andrew Tate comments on UK schools doing "anti-Tate campaigns"
Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan burst onto social media in late-2021 with an array of controversial and striking statements. 'Cobra' has spoken out against the feminist movement, theories related to toxic masculinity, and other contentious ideologies.
Within months, the pair became viral sensations across all platforms and have subsequently been labeled as dangerous thinkers in some capacity. So much so that schools in the United Kingdom have introduced "anti-Tate campaigns" into the classroom.
Twitter user @mrexceptionall posted the following online:
Andrew Tate recently shared his thoughts on the campaigns against him and his brother:
"I've heard the UK government is spending Billions of dollars to tell young men my message is toxic. They are now doing Anti Tate campaigns in schools. It saddens me to see billions of dollars are spent to try present some warped and horrible message as my own."
