The internet personality is currently in police custody on separate charges of human trafficking, rape, and conspiracy to form a criminal group.

The 36-year-old remains in custody as he awaits further legal processes. However, it seems Tate has found a defender in another controversial public figure.

"I do not believe that Andrew Tate is a rapist. I don't. I think that is what people like to accuse men of when they're trying to take them down..."

Owen's comments could be perceived as shockingly ignorant by many, considering the recent developments in Tate's case.

On episode #1920 of JRE with Dave Portnoy, Rogan shared his thoughts on the message that Tate presented:

"I don't know him [Andrew Tate]. If I did know him, I would tell him all the boastful s**t [that he does] and the s**t about him being the 'Top G' and all that stuff - all that s**t's great, but the misogynistic stuff - like, if you have daughters or if you have a wife or if you have sisters, you don't want that. That narrative, putting that out there, that's negative - to everybody. It's not even positive to him."
