Controversial influencer Andrew Tate was sentenced to 30 days in a Romanian prison the day after his December arrest on charges of human trafficking, rape, and creating an organized crime syndicate.

After a search of their luxury property in Bucharest, Romania, the former professional kickboxer, his brother Tristan Tate, and two other suspects were arrested.

Since then, he's been tweeting regularly from jail, all the while insisting that he's being targeted by agents of matrix and that he is the victim of a vast conspiracy. Tate recently described the horrid condition of his cell in his first public email to supporters since his incarceration:

"They are trying to break me. Thrown inside a cell without light. Cockroaches, lice, and bed bugs are my only friends at night. When the guards bring me to and from the courtroom, I stay absolutely respectful. They try to pour hatred into my heart.”

There has been no confirmation of any proof of Tate's culpability, although there has been talk of wiretap leaks. Tate, if found guilty based on the allegedly authentic material that has been disclosed, faces a possible prison term of 15 to 20 years.

There have been speculations circulating online that indicate Andrew Tate has been given a seventeen-year prison sentence, while other reports claim that the influencer has been sentenced to fifteen years in prison. Nonetheless, Facebook's fact check disproves the rumors. Facebook's attempts to combat fake news and misinformation on its news feed led them to flag the post.

Both Andrew Tate's supporters and detractors have a strong interest in the structure of the ongoing storyline and are eagerly awaiting further developments.

Controversial influencer Andrew Tate hails the implications of digital technology and internet

Andrew Tate is one of the most divisive figures in the modern world. Tate's continuous viral popularity can be attributed in part to the controversial statements he's made, such as comparing women to property and appealing to the growing audience of the masculinist subculture of a young, successful, and fiercely autonomous male.

His followers brand him 'Top G', and he preaches ignoring social norms and living one's best life in pursuit of one's passion. He preaches independence from society and encourages people to make their own choices.

Andrew Tate has been actively using Twitter to reach out to his supporters since his arrest in December. Just recently, the controversial influencer elaborated on how our electronic gadgets have become inseparable from who we are:

"Your electronic devices are a fundamental part of you. It's been nearly 30 days since I've interacted with an electronic device and my thoughts are louder than ever before. Like a newly blind man who develops an acute sense of smell, touch, and hearing."
