Andy Ruiz Jr. vs. Jarrell Miller is one of the featured undercard bouts for the super welterweight title clash between Terence Crawford and Israil Madrimov. The heavyweights will lock horns later this evening at the BMO Arena in Las Vegas.

Ruiz Jr. (35-2) has faced better competition than Miller during his professional career. As such the 'Destroyer' would be in no short of confidence heading into the fight. His focus would be on showcasing a master class against his fellow heavyweight and catapulting himself to another title shot.

'Destroyer' first gained popularity after he stopped Anthony Joshua in the seventh round of their 2019 title clash. While he lost the unified heavyweight titles back to 'AJ' in the rematch, the 34-year-old has since raked up two straight wins against Chris Arreola and Luis Ortiz, respectively.

On the other hand, Miller (26-1-1) is one of the most controversial heavyweights of the current era. Despite his admirable skills in the sweet science, multiple failed drug tests have ruined his credibility.

In 2019, his fight against Joshua was scrapped after he tested positive for three banned substances. Miller did not learn his lesson, and once again failed a drug test in 2021.

To make matters worse, he lost his undefeated status to Daniel Dubois in a TKO defeat in December.

With a dwindling ability to lock in high-profile fights due to his checkered history with drug tests, a win against Ruiz Jr. is a non-negotiable for 'Big Baby' if he is to revive his failing career.

According to Odds Trader, Ruiz Jr. is a -300 favorite over Miller (+275 underdog) for the matchup.
