Angela Lee shares family vacation in the Bahamas aboard a Disney cruise ship

ONE atomweight queen Angela Lee took her family aboard a Disney cruise ship in the Bahamas for a much-needed vacation last Friday.

The 26-year-old mom-champ spent the latter part of November in Singapore, cornering her husband Bruno Pucci and brother Christian Lee at two historic double-header events. So, it was about time Angela Lee found some downtime with her family to sail across the Bahamas.

Lee shared a short reel on Instagram with a full view of the ocean with the caption:

The Lee family dynasty continues with the promise of more epic matchups in the new year. At ONE on Prime Video 4, which took place in November, Christian Lee claimed his second world title with an upset TKO victory against former ONE welterweight world champion Kiamrian Abbasov.

Although Angela Lee herself came up short in her own attempt at double-gold last September, her brother’s victory inspired her to keep that dream alive. Taking a break from competing against long-time rival Xiong Jing Nan, Lee is looking forward to facing new blood in the atomweight rankings.

Angela Lee could face the winner of a potential Stamp Fairtex vs. Denice Zamboanga matchup

While the atomweight division sorts itself out, Angela Lee has a list of potential opponents vying for her crown.

South Korean striker Ham Seo Hee is near the top of the rankings and just one fight away from receiving a world title shot against the reigning queen. However, her bout at ONE 164 this December got canceled after her opponent, Itsuki Hirata, failed to meet weight and hydration standards again.

Meanwhile, the No.3-ranked contender Denice Zamboanga also made her intentions known that she’s looking for a shot at gold. After Zamboanga’s one-sided victory last Saturday against Lin Hequin, she called out her friend and former teammate, Stamp Fairtex, saying she wants the No.1 spot to challenge Lee for the world title.

However, Zamboanga will have to wait in line as the Thai superstar’s next bout is already booked for ONE on Prime Video 6 in January. If ONE Championship makes it happen, Angela Lee could potentially face the winner of the Stamp-Zamboanga fight or take the challenge and meet the Filipina stalwart head-on in 2023.
