One of the most prodigious talents the sport of MMA has ever seen, ONE atomweight Victoria Lee, has sadly passed away at the tender age of 18. Fans, fighters, fight organizations, and media outlets all paid tribute to 'The Prodigy'. Even ONE's biggest competitor, the UFC, paid respects to the Asian-American fighter.
Lee made her pro MMA debut in the big leagues at ONE: Fists of Fury at just 17 years old. She submitted Sunisa Srisan via rear-naked choke in the second round. She then followed it up with two more wins - both via stoppages - in the same year.
ONE Championship put together a touching video package to celebrate the courage, strength, resilience and love that encapsulated Victoria Lee's marvelous life and career.

Lee's sister, ONE atomweight world champion Angela Lee, posted the video on her Instagram along with some words of gratitude to those who expressed their condolences:
"I miss you so much sis 🤍 Thank you @onechampionship and @yodchatri for this beautiful tribute video honoring Victoria. This video is just a short clip of the beautiful, brilliant, kind and hardworking person Victoria was. She was down to earth, with unshakable determination and a heart of gold."
It's undoubtedly a painful sight to see the passing of a young warrior. Seeing such a talented, hardworking and humble fighter like Lee leave too soon is an unimaginable heartbreak for her friends and family.
Out of the ashes, however, breeds hope. We're sure that the Lee siblings, Angela, Christian and Adrian, will use this moment of adversity to come out strong and dedicate their future successes to their fallen sister's legacy.
ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong pays tribute to Victoria Lee at ONE Fight Night 6
Last weekend at ONE Fight Night 6 in Bangkok, Thailand, ONE Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong paid tribute to the life and career of Victoria Lee. Addressing a completely silent crowd, Sityodtong said:
“I’d like to dedicate tonight to Victoria Lee and may she live forever in ONE. And everybody here. Everybody around the world, please send your love and your prayers to the Lee family. Ken and Jewels as parents, I can’t imagine what they’re going through. And to Angela, and Christian, and Adrian. To all the loved ones.”
Check out Sityodtong’s message in the video below:
The Lee's have always had a close professional relationship with ONE and Sityodtong, being that Angela and Christian are two of their greatest world champions ever. Victoria Lee was pegged to be one of the rising stars of the atomweight division, blitzing through her opponents in her freshman year in the promotions. Sityodtong himself gave 'The Prodigy' strong praise and saw massive potential in her.
It's not surprising that the ONE Chairman would be shaken and devastated by the passing of one of the most promising talents his organization has ever seen.
