French-Algerian kickboxer Anissa Meksen is prepping for her super fight with Stamp Fairtex—and she isn't impressed with the former champ's credentials.
'C18' will take on Stamp in ONE Championship's second-ever custom rules bout at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video. The former Glory kickboxing champ feels as though her striking will be too much for her opponent to handle in the first round.

"I’ll outclass her. My goal is to smash her and to finish her. I’m not impressed [by her winning] the World Grand Prix championship."

Stamp is a former ONE atomweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champ who won the Women's Atomweight Grand Prix Tournament in 2021. She most recently defeated Jihin Radzuan at ONE Fight Night 2 on Prime Video.
Anissa Meksen has some MMA experience
Many fans believe Meksen is in big trouble if her upcoming bout reaches the second round, due to the contest switching from Muay Thai to MMA. However, the 34-year-old asserts that people should pump the brakes on that notion. She told ONE:
“I trained in MMA in 2017, and after that, I trained in MMA for three years. Now, I just came back and my skills feel good. It was a little bit difficult to come back, but now I feel better and I feel comfortable.”
'C18' added, saying:
"I trained MMA for a long time now, I expect a fight so it’s good for me, it’s a good opportunity so let’s see what happens in January. I’m so happy it’s the first event we’ll do MMA and Muay Thai so I’m happy to do this."
Meksen has over 100 Muay Thai and kickboxing bouts to her name, but she has never competed in a pro MMA fight. That will all change if her match with Stamp reaches the second round, as that is when the rules will shift.
Make sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 6 on January 13 to watch the mega-fight between Anissa Meksen and Stamp Fairtex, live from Impact Arena in Thailand.
