French-Algerian striking legend and ONE Championship standout Anissa Meksen is eyeing a rematch with inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world champion Jackie Buntan after her flawless victory at ONE Friday Fights 92 last Friday, Dec. 20.
After earning her 104th career win at the expense of Japanese kickboxing megastar Kana Morimoto, 'C18' staked her claim for a second go-around with Buntan in the post-event interview backstage:
"For me, I [will win] this fight for sure. If [there is a] rematch, I'm okay with this. But for me, I'm the winner. For me, I'm without the belt tonight, but for me, I'm the champion. Simple."

Meksen hoped to become the inaugural ONE women's 125-pound kickboxing queen when she crossed paths with the Filipino-American sensation at ONE 169 this past November.
Though Meksen fought well, Buntan's constant pressure throughout all five rounds of their world title tilt led to her winning 26 pounds of strawweight kickboxing gold over the ISKA K-1 bantamweight world champion via unanimous decision.
The 36-year-old noted her mistakes against the Boxing Works product and applied the necessary adjustments in her atomweight kickboxing bout with Kana. Meksen earned the unanimous decision win, spoiling Kana's ONE debut.
Anissa Meksen sheds light on her motivation entering Kana clash
Anissa Meksen fought with an intensity that surprised many fans, and she had good reason to showcase her dominance.
During the press conference ahead of ONE Friday Fights 92, Meksen revealed:
"Kana came to train with me back in 2020 for two weeks. After that, she fought and won the fight and she called me out. So that's why I really want to face her because for me, it was a little bit disrespectful."
