Anissa Meksen is used to achieving goals that she sets her sights on throughout her long and successful kickboxing career. 'C18' is no stranger to competing at the very highest level and picking up new titles and trophies along the way. However, one accomplishment that is yet to be ticked off her impressive list is a ONE world championship.
Meksen has had the opportunity to secure gold in the promotion once before but came up short that time around against Phetjeeja last year.
On her return at ONE 169 on Nov. 8, Meksen will fight for a world championship once again when she faces Jackie Buntan at Lumpinee Stadium.
With the inaugural ONE strawweight kickboxing world championship on the line, the veteran kickboxer is fired up for this one. She's looking to leave Bangkok with the belt wrapped around her waist and doesn't need any other sources of motivation.

In a recent interview with ONE Championship, she spoke about how her desire to achieve this goal has only continued to grow over time:
"I've been waiting four years for this, and that's why my motivation is very high. I really want to take this belt."
Anissa Meksen will bring her best version to Lumpinee Stadium
Anissa Meksen is far too experienced at the highest level to bring anything but her A-game to Lumpinee Stadium on Nov. 8.
She's reached the pinnacle wherever she goes and becoming a world champion at ONE 169 would solidify that once and for all.
That being said, she knows that Jackie Buntan isn't an opponent that is going to come into this fight thinking that she can't secure the victory either.
Meksen is pulling out all the stops in her training camp because if this is her last chance to become a ONE world champion, she's going to give it everything that she has.
