Algerian-French kickboxing icon 'C18' Anissa Meksen is finally getting her shot at ONE Championship gold.
The 36-year-old Korean Tiger Studios representative is gearing up to face Filipina-American striking sensation Jackie Buntan next week for the inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world title, and Meksen doesn't seem at all impressed by what she has seen from her upcoming adversary.
Speaking to South China Morning Post in a recent interview, Meksen talked about Buntan and what she thinks of the Filipina-American's skill set.

'C18' stated:
"She is very strong. She has good boxing but she does the same thing all the time. She has good boxing, she has a very good one-two-hook combo. She’s good when she goes forward. That’s it. I faced a lot of strong opponents, and for me, she’s simply just another strong opponent."
Needless to say, fans are definitely excited to watch one of the world's best female strikers go head-to-head in the world's largest martial arts organization.
The winner will walk away with a gaudy 26 pounds of gold, and bragging rights as the division's best.
Meksen wants to make sure that she's the one who emerges victorious in this important clash.
