'C18' Anissa Meksen is clearly not impressed by her upcoming opponent Stamp Fairtex. The two are booked for a mixed rules super fight at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video on January 13, and they can't get in the ONE circle soon enough.
The French-Algerian Meksen has claimed that the Thai-born superstar is not even on her level and that her skills leave something to be desired. However, 'C18' did compliment the star-building quality of Stamp.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Meksen said:
"Before [Stamp] entered ONE Championship, I’m sorry to say it, but she was nothing. She had no title, no fame, and when she entered ONE, ONE built her, built her career."

Meksen explained that it has been the exact opposite journey for herself. 'C18' has collected numerous world titles all around the globe before entering ONE Championship. The French-Algerian fighter is well decorated, having held world titles in GLORY Kickboxing, ISKA, WAKO, and WBC Muaythai. She explained:
“It’s not the same for me. I took everybody out [who was in] my way. I did not choose opponents, nothing. So we will see if she’s the bigger star.”
Anissa Meksen is aiming for a knockout finish at ONE Fight Night 6
Anissa Meksen and Stamp Fairtex have agreed to face off in a mixed rules super fight. Each round of their bout will alternate between Muay Thai and MMA rulesets. Each fighter has a proficient background in the striking arts of Muay Thai and kickboxing, but Stamp has an experience edge in MMA.
Despite having less experience in MMA than her counterpart, the French-Algerian Anissa Meksen is still highly confident that she will finish her Thai-born opponent. While speaking to ONE, 'C18' said:
“My goal is to finish her, 100 percent. It doesn’t matter during which round, but a first-round [finish] would be good. So my goal is to finish her in the first round. [Fans can expect] a quick fight.”
Fans and fighters alike are excited for this battle in the ONE circle. Anissa Meksen and Stamp Fairtex are booked for their showdown at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video on January 13. ONE Fight Night 6 is live and free for North American fans with Prime Video.
