"Another chance to have some vindication" - Dante Leon eager to redeem himself against Tommy Langaker at ONE Fight Night 27

Dante Leon is out to prove a point when he makes his return to action at ONE Fight Night 27 this weekend.

The Canadian submission grappler has already shown fans what he is capable of last month when he made his debut. After making quick work of Bruno Pucci at ONE Fight Night 26, the 29-year-old was keen to make a quick turnaround so that he can continue working his way up the ladder.

An ideal opportunity has now arrived for him as on Jan. 10 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, as he will have the chance to earn some revenge over an opponent that he has thought about crossing paths with again for some time.

Dante Leon will face off with former ONE world title challenger Tommy Langaker in a high-level catchweight contest that carries big stakes with it. The recent arrival has all the motivation he needs to go out there and secure this victory considering the past between him and Langaker.

He spoke about his drive to run this one back in a recent interview with ONE Championship, having been beaten by his next foe in the past:

"It's always been a match, and it's always been a case where it's sat in my mind a little bit, and I've kinda wanted to have at least another chance to have some vindication for myself."
