Two years after losing the heavyweight championship to Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua attempted to become a three-time IBF world titleholder on Sept. 21 against Daniel Dubois. As two of the biggest stars in the heavyweight division from the United Kingdom, the fight headlined a pay-per-view offering from the Wembley Stadium in London.
Both Joshua and Dubois entered the fight at arguably the peak of their careers. Despite previously serving as champion, Joshua entered the matchup on a four-fight winning streak in conceivably the best shape of his career with Dubois winning six of his previous seven fights.
Against all odds, Dubois exited Wembley Stadium the same way he entered it: with the IBF heavyweight belt. 'Dynamite' shockingly dominated the fight from start to finish and landed four official knockdowns, the last one putting Joshua down for good.

Dubois was the second fighter to get a knockout win on the card, following Hamzah Sheeraz knocking out Tyler Denny in the co-main event. The first four fights of the card all went to the scorecards.
The main event stole the show with Dubois becoming just the second fighter to knock out Joshua but the card in total produced several other talking points. In the third fight of the night, 33-year-old former champion Josh Warrington lost a one-sided decision to Anthony Cacace. After the loss, 'The Leeds Warrior' hinted at his retirement, having lost his last three fights.
