#1 IBF heavyweight title: Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois
In the main event, Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois will be for the IBF heavyweight belt, which is owned by Dubois and previously vacated by the great Oleksandr Usyk, who has beaten both men in defense of that very same title. As for who will win between the Englishman, the answer is shockingly clear.
While both Joshua and Dubois are heavy-handed punchers, there are several other key reasons. Joshua has superior footwork, which he often uses to facilitate lateral movement and out-fighting to maximize his reach advantage. Moreover, he is significantly faster than Dubois.
Dubois, although powerful, is plodding, shorter, and has almost no defensive boxing to speak of, relying on his chin to carry him through his bouts. In his bout with Filip Hrgović, who possesses neither the speed nor the power that 'AJ' does, Dubois was repeatedly cracked by one-twos down the pipe.
If he does not mind the gap he leaves in the center of his guard, he could suffer the same fate that Francis Ngannou did. The fight should be a complete washout in Joshua's favor. Dubois' only chance is by somehow closing the distance to work his dirty boxing game up close, where he can land a fight-ender.
The Prediction: Anthony Joshua via late TKO
