UFC light heavyweight Anthony Smith has lashed out at rapper Kanye West over his recent posts on social media.
West recently uploaded a logo on Twitter that featured the swastika symbol, widely recognized for its appropriation by the Nazi Party, inside the Star of David.
Prior to that, West also made an appearance on Alex Jones' podcast, InfoWars. During the episode, Kim Kardashian's ex-husband said that he 'liked' Adolf Hitler and argued that there was a positive side to the Nazi leader:

“I love everyone. Jewish people are not going to tell me you can love us, and you can love what we’re doing to you with the contracts, and you can love what we’re pushing with the pornography. But this guy that invented hughways, invented the very microphone that I use as a musician, you can’t say out loud that his person even did anything good, and I’m done with that.”
The musical star received a lot of backlash for the logo and his anti-Semitic comments.
In the latest episode of the Believe You Me podcast, Smith touched upon the issue and criticized West for his comments, calling him an "idiot."
"I stuck up for him [Kanye West] before. Listen, he's just a crazy guy. There's obviously some things going on with him like... You can't say there's some positive things about Hitler and now, your new Ye logo, looks like a god**mn Swastika, you're an idiot," said Anthony Smith.

Anthony Smith's next UFC fight will take place in March 2023
Anthony Smith will return to action on March 11, 2023. 'Lionheart' will take on fellow light heavyweight contender Jamahal Hill in a five-round main event at UFC Fight Night 222.
In his last fight against Magomed Ankalaev, Smith suffered an ankle injury which hindered his fighting abilities. Ankalaev went on to score a TKO victory over the 34-year-old.
Prior to that, 'Lionheart' was riding an impressive three-fight win streak, with victories over Ryan Spann, Jimmy Crute and Devin Clark.
Hill, on the other hand, has been running through his competition lately. 'Sweet Dreams' has won his last three fights against Thiago Santos, Johnny Walker and Jimmy Crute. All those victories have come via knockout.
It will be interesting to see whether Smith is able to bounce back from his injury or whether Hill continues his incredible run in the UFC.
