Ariel Helwani has weighed in on the ongoing social media feud between MMA content creators Nina-Marie Daniele and The MMA Guru. Helwani, a respected MMA journalist, proposed a solution.
The dispute began after The MMA Guru criticized journalist Amy Kaplan, sharing photos of her at the UFC 307 pre-fight press conference with disparaging remarks. Nina-Marie Daniele, known for her lighthearted yet engaging interviews with fighters, condemned Guru’s actions, labeling him a "clout-chasing vermin."
She defended Kaplan, calling out Guru for his harmful comments.
In response, The MMA Guru posted a video accusing Daniele of hypocrisy, highlighting her alleged tolerance of similar remarks from her friend, former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland. Daniele countered on X, accusing Guru of deliberately spreading negativity and creating drama for attention.

Addressing the heated exchange, Helwani expressed openness to hosting both creators on his show to resolve their differences:
“I would have no problem having her on the [Ariel Helwani] show. Let’s have everyone on the show. Like I said 2025, we’re all about peace and love. I don’t know if she would come on… show we do a virtual faceoff? Nina Drama and MMA guru face-off? I would do it.”
