Arman Tsarukyan recently took a jibe at Michael Chandler and continued to roast him online after Chandler seemingly announced his decision to move on from fighting Conor McGregor. The former Bellator lightweight champion and 'The Notorious' have been linked for well over a year and were scheduled to face each other, but their bout has since been postponed due to the Irishman suffering a broken toe.
Tsarukyan has taken aim at 'Iron' since last year as he noted that he had his doubts about the fight against McGregor materializing. In a 2023 tweet, Tsarukyan took a jibe at the former Bellator lightweight champion and questioned his intelligence. He wrote:
"Hey @MikeChandlerMMA if you think the fight with Conor is still happening you are as dumb as your fight IQ"
'Iron' was recently involved in a back-and-forth with McGregor on X, which led to the former two-division UFC champion informing him that he'll be pursuing a 'BMF' title bout against Max Holloway rather than fighting him. The exchange caught Tsarukyan's attention, who roasted Chandler and mentioned that it took him a significant amount of time to finally realize the bout wasn't happening. He replied to Chandler's tweet in which 'Iron' said he would be moving on from the McGregor fight, and wrote:

"Does it mean we can finally watch you lose 4 exciting fights now?"
He then re-shared his tweet from 2023, and wrote:
"14 months later..."

Is Michael Chandler serious about moving on from Conor McGregor fight?
It's unclear whether or not Michael Chandler was actually serious about moving on from his long awaited fight against Conor McGregor.
The former Bellator lightweight champion has been waiting patiently on the sidelines for well over a year and didn't pursue other bouts while the Irishman was fulfilling his obligations for the 'Road House' remake. Following a back-and-forth exchange on X, Chandler tweeted that he was moving on from the McGregor bout and wished him well. He wrote:
"Nevermind guys...I think it's time I finally admit the fight is off. He's still in stage 2 of the 7 of grief pertaining to his career being over. Figured he'd be closer to 5 by now. Godspeed @TheNotoriousMMA"
