Arman Tsarukyan calling out Charles Oliveira using the Brazilian's catchphrases has rubbed some fans the wrong way. Tsarukyan was set to lock horns with lightweight champion Islam Makhachev at UFC 311. However, the Armenian withdrew from the bout because of a back injury and is now seeking his next opponent.

UFC CEO Dana White commented on Tsarukyan's future after the pay-per-view, revealing that the lightweight will not be given a title shot next. Instead, he'll have to work his way back to contention. With Oliveira also without an opponent, Tsarukyan has called for a rematch with the Brazilian.

They notably squared off at UFC 300 last year, where 'Akhalkalakets' eked out a decision win in their three-rounder. Tsarukyan has now used Oliveira's iconic 'The champion has a name' catchphrase, hinting at a rematch with 'do Bronx'.

ESPN MMA on X shared Tsarukyan's call-out:

"The number one contender has a name, and it’s Arman Tsarukyan. If anyone wants to be the number one contender, they need to fight me—I’m ready and open. Don’t be afraid to say my name. I promise I won’t hit too hard."

"Go home, accept your a rich kiddy and not about that life. Cant even come up with own sentences lol"

Another user took a dig at 'Ahalkalakets' for backing out at the last moment at UFC 311 and wrote:

Charles Oliveira wants to fight Max Holloway

Amid rumors of a rematch with the UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, Charles Oliveira has also teased a potential bout with Max Holloway.

The Brazilian recently told UFC Brazil:

"We'll have to see when Islam Makhachev will want to come back. If he only wants to fight in October, I definitely want to fight before that, so why not challenge Max Holloway for the BMF belt? We met before, but I suffered an injury right in the beginning, so there wasn't an actual fight. I think we deserve to make this fight happen."

'Blessed' concurs and proposed a date for a rematch with 'do Bronx', suggesting International Fight Week, which is typically held in late June or early July in Las Vegas.

Check out Max Holloway's response below:

The two combatants met inside the octagon for the first time back in 2015. However, their bout reached an anticlimactic ending as Oliveira sustained a neck injury in the very first round, so Holloway was declared the victor via TKO.
