Arman Tsarukyan reacted to Charles Oliveira thinking he was unconscious during their fight at UFC 300.
Last Saturday featured many special moments, as UFC 300 became one of the most unforgettable events in MMA history. Most of the attention was on Max Holloway and Alex Pereira, but several other matchups had the fans going crazy, including Tsarukyan's split-decision win against Oliveira.
Tsarukyan controlled most of the fight, while Oliveira attempted to capitalize on submission attempts that he's finished plenty of opponents with. In round three, 'Do Bronx' locked in a D'arce choke, and his opponent allegedly defended by laying flat, which some fans thought was him going unconscious.
In the aftermath of UFC 300, Oliveira admitted that he stuck his tongue out in round three because he thought he choked out Tsarukyan. Once the comments by 'Do Bronx' spread on Instagram, the Armenian responded in the comment section.

Charles Oliveira claims "the lion is still hungry" following UFC 300 loss against Arman Tsarukyan
Charles Oliveira potentially had an opportunity to secure another UFC lightweight title shot by defeating Arman Tsarukyan. Unfortunately for him, things didn't go as planned, but he's not considering retirement. The Brazilian fan favorite had this to say in a statement posted on Instagram:
"I just want to thank God and all my fans around the world. Yesterday it wasn't my night, but I will be back better for me and all of you. Love all of you. The Lion is still hungry!"
Following UFC 300, Tsarukyan was offered a lightweight title shot against Islam Makhachev on June 1. The Armenian turned down the opportunity, leading to Dustin Poirier being finalized for the UFC 302 main event. It's unclear if Tsarukyan will face the winner of Makhachev vs. Poirier or needs another win.
As for Oliveira, the former UFC lightweight champion is undoubtedly a dangerous fighter for anyone in the division. Once he returns, 'Do Bronx' could find himself matched up against Mateusz Gamrot, Justin Gaethje (rematch), or another top contender.
