Enhanced Games founder and president Dr. Aron D'Souza recently appeared in 'The Joe Rogan Experience, talking about the controversial and polarizing concept he and his team developed.
Dr. D'Souza, together with a large team of specialists and doctors, aims to create a new league of athletics that melds science with sports. According to its website, Enhanced Games is the "ultimate demonstration of what the human body is capable of".
What this meant was conducting safe and careful administration of Performance-Enhancing Drugs (PEDs) upon the athletes - with the hope of setting new world records, conducting safer games, and generating higher athlete pay. The site also said that the league will grant the first athletes to set new world records for 100m sprint and 50m freestyle with $1,000,000.

The league plans to conduct sports with the 'highest television and social media impact with the lowest infrastructural cost' (via Triple M on YouTube). This means sports like track and field, swimming and diving, gymnastics, combat sports, and weight-lifting will be featured in the event.
Speaking to Joe Rogan, Dr. D'Souza said:
"44% of Olympians admit to using banned performance-enhancing drugs in the last year, according to research commissioned by the [World Anti-Doping Agency]."
Dr. D'Souza continued:
"And then I learned that the average American Olympian only earns $30,000 a year. And I thought to myself, 'There's something really wrong in the system and instead of, you know, trying to reform it, let's take a blank slate of paper and invent the third Olympiad from scratch."

Joe Rogan on steroid use in MMA: "It's a very complicated discussion"
Always outspoken about controversial subjects, especially on the topic of MMA and sports, Joe Rogan has expressed his thoughts on steroid use in a separate podcast episode.
Speaking to computer scientist and fellow podcaster Lex Fridman, Rogan said:
"It's a very complicated discussion. Steroids are a very complicated discussion. You're not allowed to use them but they exist for a reason. The reason why they exist is they're really effective at enhancing your body. But how much of that will we allow? We allow creatine, we allow supplements...there's certain things that can slightly elevate your testosterone, slightly elevate your growth hormone. We allow sauna and ice baths and all these things that have shown to enhance recovery but that's [steroids] too much. Too good. They're too effective."
Rogan continued:
"But it's weird that this thing that that we found that makes you better, you can't use."
