Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom would love to give Stamp Fairtex a rude welcome back to kickboxing. The reigning atomweight MMA world champion missed all of 2024 after suffering a torn meniscus on her left knee.
While Stamp is close to making her highly anticipated return sometime in 2025, she expressed her desire to make a detour to kickboxing first before defending her MMA belt.
This news was music to the ears of reigning atomweight kickboxing world champion Phetjeeja.
'The Queen' was in attendance at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand for ONE Fight Night 27 last weekend, and had this to say to the Bangkok Post's Nick Atkin:

"I’m very happy to hear [that]. If she wants to come to kickboxing, [I’m here]."
Stamp Fairtex is ONE's first-ever three-sport world champion, having held world titles in kickboxing and Muay Thai before conquering the 115-pound MMA division.
Phetjeeja, on the other hand, went on a 6-0 rampage en route to the atomweight kickboxing world title long after Stamp's kickboxing reign.
So far, no one has been able to stop the 23-year-old phenom's unrelenting barrage. Even striking legends Anissa Meksen and Janet Todd fell prey to the wrath of Phetjeeja.
It is worth noting, though, that Phetjeeja already bested Stamp a few years back. It will certainly be interesting to see these two fierce Thai warriors run it back in the home of martial arts.

Stamp Fairtex says rehabbed knee is '60 percent' healed
Stamp Fairtex has been cleared by doctors to resume her usual training in the gym.
Still, the 27-year-old fan-favorite is erring on the side of caution and taking everything day by day.
In her own interview with the Bangkok Post, Stamp admitted she's still far from 100 percent, but has truly come a long way with her rehabilitation.
"Everything is getting better. My knee is getting better, maybe around 60 percent or something like that."
