Fifth-ranked contender Akbar Abdullaev sees a hole in the defense of reigning ONE featherweight MMA world champion Tang Kai, and he plans on exploiting it in their upcoming showdown on Jan. 10 at ONE Fight Night 27.

Akbar Abdullaev aims to utilize his superior grappling skills against the Chinese MMA star in front of the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and he shared this during his recent interview with ONE Championship.

The Kyrgyz MMA powerhouse said:

"His weakness... honestly, perhaps it's wrestling, and my goal will be to attack him in transition."

He revealed this during the same interview with the world's largest martial arts organization, where he stated:

"This is the goal of my life - to represent my motherland and my people to the whole world so that the whole world knows there are such strong fighters as the Kyrgyz. This is an honor for me."
