Aung La N Sang is absolutely heartbroken over the recent news. ONE atomweight world champion Angela Lee shared on Instagram that her younger sister, Victoria Lee, has passed away.
Victoria Lee was an MMA fighter with a perfect 3-0 record while competing for ONE Championship. She took a year off to focus on schooling and recently graduated. She was booked for a comeback in the ONE circle later this year.
Former two-division world champion Aung La N Sang shared his thoughts in an interview with Nicolas Atkin of SCMP MMA. Aung La said:

"Yeah, I’m heartbroken for Ken [Lee's father]. As a man with a two-year-old daughter, I know the connection you have with your daughter. A father and a daughter is like no love that you can have, and it hurts me, it hurts me just thinking about it, you know?"
Aung La remembers meeting Victoria not too long ago. He recalled:
"I met Victoria a year ago and she was so sweet, like the whole family is sweet, you know? But this one is like, it’s a hard one to take. I couldn’t believe it. When I read the post, I had to re-read and re-read and re-read it again, and I just feel for the whole family. Condolences to the Lee family. I can’t even put it to words."

When Victoria was competing in ONE Championship, she was merely 16 years old. She passed away at the age of just 18. The mere notion of this broke Aung La's heart. He explained:
"18. Think about it -- 18. She had so much to live for, so much to live for, you know? For sure, potential future champion and I mean, 18. She’s just a teenager, you know?"
'The Burmese Python' Aung La N Sang will soon be back in the ONE circle. He will compete at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video booked for January 13 against Gilberto Galvao. The fight card will be live and free to watch for North American fans with a Prime Video subscription.
