Aung La N Sang is putting in work at the gym before his big return to the circle next month.
‘The Burmese Python’ is gearing up for what could be another do-or-die matchup for the iconic fan-favorite. On May 5, Aung La will head to the 1stBank Center in Colorado for a showdown with Chinese standout Fan Rong at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video. The event will serve as ONE Championship’s North American debut as well as the Myanmar superstar’s best chance at climbing back into the contender’s circle.
With less than a month to go before fight night, Aung La N Sang is ramping up his preparations, as seen in a post shared by ‘The Burmese Python’ on Instagram.
“Tough day, 📏🔨 but we still building.”

Aung La N Sang will look to extend his win streak to three after scoring back-to-back first-round knockouts against Japanese MMA legend Yushin ‘Thunder’ Okami and BJJ standout Gilberto Galvao. A strong showing against the ‘King Kong Warrior’ Fan Rong would very well secure ‘The Burmese Python’ a ONE world title opportunity, or at the very least get him in the conversation.
Getting that victory won’t be easy against Fan Rong, a well-rounded Chinese striker who can hold his own on the feet and outlast you on the ground. Fan’s 2-2 record under the ONE Championship banner sounds admittedly unimpressive, but you have to take into account that his two losses came against reigning ONE middleweight world champion Reinier de Ridder and former titleholder Vitaly Bigdash.
Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America can catch ONE Fight Night 10 live and for free in U.S. primetime on May 5.
