Former two-division world champion 'The Burmese Python' Aung La N Sang is looking forward to getting back in the circle. Facing the 37-year-old fighter will be MMA veteran 'Thunder' Yushin Okami. The middleweight showdown is booked for ONE 163 on November 19.
'The Burmese Python' will be preparing for battle at Kill Cliff FC with the accomplished trainer Henri Hooft. Training alongside some of the best fighters in the world is vital to Aung La's success. However, he explained that at the end of the day, a fighter's attitude matters more than where they train.
While speaking to SCMP MMA, Aung La stated:
"Yeah, of course, but at the end of the day, it's really up to you. It's really up to the person that's going to the cage. You could have the best whatever, but you're the one that's going in there, so I have to be, everything is accounted for in my hands. It doesn't matter if you are in the best gym or in the worst gym, you're the captain of your own destiny."
