At ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video, Aung La N Sang will get to tick off another box in his storied career.
As one of the most successful fighters in the history of ONE Championship, Aung La doesn’t have many things left on his bucket list. But on May 5, he will get the chance to compete in the United States under the ONE banner.
On the promotion’s debut event in the United States, the former double world champion will face Fan Rong as he continues to regain his momentum and work towards a shot at the ONE middleweight world championship.
One thing you can always guarantee when ‘The Burmese Python’ is scheduled to compete is that he will bring a lot of support with him.

In his recent fights, Aung La has been making sacrifices by taking time away from his family to go and compete. That changes on May 5, when they will get to support him live and in person.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Aung La spoke about the added benefit of having his family with him in the U.S.:
“It's going to be cool to fight in front of my family, in front of some of the U.S. fans. I’m excited to put on a great show. It’s going to be exciting.”
ONE Fight Night 10 goes down at 1stBank Center, and is available live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
Aung La N Sang says it is much more convenient competing in the United States
On top of having his family and friends in attendance to support him, Aung La N Sang believes there are multiple benefits for him when it comes to competing in the United States.
Whilst ‘The Burmese Python’ may be a huge star in Asia, he is confident that he will be able to fill the 1stBank Center in Colorado with his supporters after spending most of his time in the U.S.
Whilst he usually would travel across the world, returning to Asia to compete, he now has ONE Championship returning the favor and bringing the Circle to his front door.
In an interview with the South China Morning Post ahead of his contest with Fan Rong on May 5, Aung La spoke about the issues that come with competing around the world:
“I can bring more training partners [to Denver]. I can make preparations easier for the fight towards the end. I have a lot of things in my control versus, let’s say, in Singapore... The worst example would be Hefei in China,” he added, referencing his 2016 fight with Aleksei Butorin. “I couldn’t speak their language. I had a hard time getting the right food. For this fight, it’s going to be much easier.”
ONE Fight Night 10 will be live and free for North American viewers via Prime Video on May 5.
