“I wouldn’t look past his opponent” - Aung La N Sang reminds fans not to count out Murad Ramazanov in Roberto Soldic bout

Aung La N Sang has warned fans to pump the brakes on the hype on the upcoming debut of Roberto Soldic in ONE Championship. The Croatian has arrived in the promotion with a ton of hype after his success as a double champion in Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW).

Knowing a thing or two about being a multiple-weight world champion, Aung La N Sang is a veteran of the fight world at this point in his career. Whilst Soldic is the guy with all the hype, ‘The Burmese Python’ has refused to look past his opponent.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan, Aung La reminded fans just who Murad Ramazanov is and the dangers he brings to Soldic’s welcoming party inside the circle:

“He [Soldic] doesn’t have an easy fight at all. I’m not gonna look past the guy he’s gonna fight. The guy [Ramazanov] is a great grappler, big for his weight class. I wouldn’t look past his opponent, his opponent is 11-0.”

Murad Ramazanov is a very tough test for Roberto Soldic’s debut, worthy of the hype behind the Croatian. Ramazanov has gone 3-0 inside the circle since joining the promotion in 2020, and as Aung La pointed out, is yet to taste defeat in his professional career.

Aung La N Sang returns to the circle on November 19 when he faces Yushin ‘Thunder’ Okami in a clash of legends at ONE 163.

Roberto Soldic makes his ONE Championship debut at ONE on Prime Video 5 against the undefeated Murad Ramazanov. The event will be live and free to watch for North American audiences who have a Prime Video subscription. With middleweight champion Reinier de Ridder also on the card, there are massive stakes at play in this match-up, regardless of who wins the fight.
