Aung La N Sang teases next fight on Instagram

'The Burmese Python' Aung La N Sang will be back in action soon. The ONE Championship middleweight fighter is coming off an impressive first-round TKO stoppage of Yushin Okami at ONE 163.

On Instagram, Aung La shared that he has a bout agreement signed for an upcoming fight. The Burmese fighter wrote:

"Contract signed! 📝 See you in a few weeks [ONE Championship]. Back in camp. Christmas 🎄 came early this year."

Aung La N Sang is a former two-division world champion in ONE. At one point, 'The Burmese Python' simultaneously held the ONE light heavyweight and middleweight world championships. Over time, though, he lost both of his crowns to Dutch submission specialist Reinier de Ridder.

Aung La is now back on the winning trail and seeking another world title run. With one win down, he has another fight upcoming soon. No opponent or date has been confirmed thus far.

However, Aung La did say in a few weeks, which may hint at ONE on Prime Video 6 on January 13 or ONE on Prime Video 7 on February 10.

Coming off a victory against Yushin Okami at ONE 163, fans are clamoring to know when Aung La N Sang's next bout will be.

While he has officially signed a contract, there has been no announcement of an opponent or date. It is clear from previous interviews that the 37-year-old fighter wants to make a run at the world title.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan, Aung La mapped out his aspirations for the ONE middleweight throne. He said:

“It’s gonna take a year I think, I have a feeling that it’s gonna take a year. I had that run in me and I know it’s gonna happen.”

ONE Championship has a stacked middleweight division and 'The Burmese Python' could be fighting any of the highly skilled athletes in a few weeks.

ONE on Prime Video 6 on January 13 will be headlined by a ONE featherweight kickboxing world title fight between Superbon Singha Mawynn and Chingiz Allazov. Also featured at this event is Stamp Fairtex vs. Anissa Meksen.

ONE on Prime Video 7 on February 10 is headlined by a ONE bantamweight world championship rematch between John Lineker and Fabricio Andrade. Plus, a ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title showdown between Tawanchai PK.Saenchai and Jamal Yusupov will also take place.
