Aung La N Sang is grateful for everyone at Kill Cliff FC for helping him prepare for his upcoming fight.
Aung La trains at the South Florida powerhouse training center called Kill Cliff FC, formerly known as Sanford MMA. Some of the professional fighters that ‘The Burmese Python’ consistently works with are Marc-Andre Barriault, Gerald Meerschaert, Martin Nguyen, Derek Brunson, and more.
A month before his next fight at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video, Aung La is starting to put the finishing touches on his training camp. The former two-division world champion posted a photo of himself and his training partners on Instagram with the caption saying:
“One month out from my fight and @onechampionship debut in the USA. I am very thankful for the guys here at @killcliff_fc for teaching me and helping me get ready. 🙏👊”

Aung La’s nineteenth appearance in the Circle will be against Fan Rong. The Chinese-born fighter holds a promotional record of 2-2, with his last fight being a loss against Vitaly Bigdash in December 2021. ‘King Kong Warrior’ plans to get back on track by taking out the Kill Cliff FC affiliate.
Aung La N Sang plans to break down Fan Rong at ONE Fight Night 10
Aung La N Sang has an opportunity to make a statement against Fan Rong on May 5. Fan will have to stake off some minor ring rust, but he possesses the skills to make a run in the middleweight division.
Meanwhile, Aung La believes he can break down his upcoming opponent and secure a win inside the distance. The former two-division world champion had this to say during an interview with ONE Championship:
“I’m looking for a finish. Honestly, I’m looking for a grand finish. If the submission is there, I’ll take it, but I’m not going to force anything. I’m just going to look to break him and outwork him. I’ll just break him.”
Since losing two world championships against Reinier de Ridder, Aung La has been on a mission to regain ONE gold. The 37-year-old has won three of his last four fights, with all the wins coming by first-round finish.
The Myanmar native looks to take another step towards a title shot by securing a win inside the sold-out 1stBank Center in Colorado for the promotion’s first event on U.S. soil.
ONE Fight Night 10 can be seen live and for free by North American Prime Video subscribers.
