'Iron' Mike Tyson and Jake Paul seemingly exchanged NSFW remarks with one another at their boxing match's promotional press conference earlier tonight. Tyson notably appeared to jibe about the 16-year-old version of Paul, with his comments eliciting a myriad of reactions from fight fans.
The 57-year-old Tyson hasn't competed in a professional boxing match since June 2005. Meanwhile, the 27-year-old Paul has consistently fought in the professional boxing realm since his debut in Jan. 2020.
The Paul-Tyson heavyweight clash is scheduled to headline a boxing event at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on July 20, 2024. The event's co-headlining fight will see Katie Taylor face Amanda Serrano in a rematch with the WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF, and The Ring lightweight titles at stake.
During the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson press conference in Dallas, Texas, Kristina Snow of Snow Queen LA asked the headlining and co-headlining fighters the one thing people don't know about them. For his part, Tyson responded by stating:

"None of their f**king business."
Meanwhile, Paul chimed in by saying:
"I want to kiss Mike's big, juicy lips."
Tyson hit back by alluding to the YouTube skits that 'The Problem Child' used to make through his teenage years en route to becoming a prominent YouTube star. 'Iron' addressed the same and said:
"He wanted to kiss me? That's so ironic that he said that 'cause I saw a picture of him dancing at 16, doing a little dance on YouTube. And for some reason, I had an er**tion."

Mike Tyson's assertion seems to have drawn mixed reactions from the combat sports community, as some fans suggested that they were excited to see the former undisputed heavyweight champion back. One fan indicated that comment wasn't out of character, as 'Iron' has always been excited by the prospect of fighting.
Another noted that the legend wants to check Paul "prison style."
On the other hand, multiple X users insinuated that Tyson's comment was out of line, adding that he's said way worse in the past. One netizen tweeted:
"How does a Paul fight someone who gets an er**tion watching child him dance? How does a guy respond to that? Tyson has the baddest trash talking game ever."

Revisiting Mike Tyson's infamous NSFW tirade before his heavyweight grudge match with Lennox Lewis
Back in 2002, Mike Tyson had endured several hardships outside the ring, including a prison stint and struggles with substance abuse. He was scheduled to fight archrival Lennox Lewis for the WBC, WBO, IBF, IBO, and The Ring heavyweight titles in June of that year. During a media event, the two fighters got into a massive brawl onstage.
An audience member then seemed to suggest Mike Tyson be put in a straitjacket, casting aspersions on his mental stability. The boxing great, known for his NSFW tirades, fired back at the individual with an expletive-laden rant. The fearsome knockout artist implied that the person wouldn't last a minute in his world and dared him to say that to his face.
Making an NSFW assertion, Tyson notably said:
"Scared of the real man. I'll f**k you till you love me, fa**ot."
