After a pit stop to kickboxing and over a year of hiatus from action, Fabricio Andrade is now ready to resume his duties as the golden standard of the weight class and prove that he is the best athlete in the division.

In a recent exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, the Brazilian superstar was asked if fans would see him more often inside the ring, and he confirmed this by saying:

"Yes, definitely. That's the top of my list. I want to fight more, as often as I used to fight, you know. As I said, the last two years have been a lot of learning for me, and after this fight, I hope to get three or four fights and stay active."

'Wonder Boy' attempted to become a two-sport world champion when he fought Jonathan Haggerty for the vacant ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title in November 2023 at ONE Fight Night 16 but came short after sustaining a second-round defeat at the hands of 'The General.'

Now, Andrade is preparing to defend his 26-pound golden belt against the revenge-seeking challenger Kwon Won Il in their championship rematch at ONE 170 on Jan. 24, inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

The current undisputed ONE bantamweight MMA world champion is still undefeated across all his fights in the all-encompassing discipline under the promotional banner.

Fabricio Andrade identifies one big improvement that Kwon Won Il needs in his fighting style

Before getting his hands on 'Pretty Boy' for the second time around, Fabricio Andrade identified a significant flaw in his fighting style, which he shared in his most recent interview with ONE Championship.

According to the Evolve MMA and Tiger Muay Thai representative, the South Korean knockout artist needs to maximize his long reach to be more successful:

"What I see in his game is the same as I saw the first time I faced him. He's a guy who doesn't know how to use the good wingspan he has."

ONE 170 will be available via watch.onefc.com. The exciting event will take place inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on Jan. 24.
