Bantamweight Muay Thai KO artists Nong-O and Kiamran Nabati collide at ONE Friday Fights 81

The talent-laden ONE bantamweight Muay Thai division could see the rise of a former kingpin or a changing of the guard at ONE Friday Fights 81: Superbon vs Nattawut.

Nong-O Hama, the former overlord of the 145-pound Muay Thai ranks, will be taking on the red-hot Kiamran Nabati on September 27 inside the fabled halls of Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Nong-O will no doubt go down as one of the greats in 'The Art of Eight Limbs' once it's all said and done.

The 37-year-old Thai icon went on a dominant 10-0 streak in the world's largest martial arts organization, a run that included seven successful world title defenses.

The Evolve MMA athlete, however, saw his reign end at the hands of now two-sport bantamweight king Jonathan Haggerty via vicious knockout.

Nong-O then suffered another debilitating finish at the hands of Nico Carrillo last year, which prompted discussions about whether he should hang it up.

Needless to say, Nong-O put those concerns to rest when he turned back the clock with a brilliant unanimous decision win over Kulabdam last April.

The streaking Nabati, however, will be gunning for the former champ's No.3 rank.

The Russian powerhouse is off to a 3-0 star under the ONE banner, with his latest triumph earning him a shot against Nong-O.

Nabati is coming off a sensational knockout of Suablack last June, effectively snapping the Thai's six-fight winning streak.

ONE Friday Fights 81 is a striker's paradise

Headlining arguably the most stacked ONE Friday Fights card of the year is a three-round featherweight Muay Thai clash between Superbon and 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut.

Takeru Segawa will also return to take on Black Panther in a flyweight kickboxing war.

Former kickboxing champions Hiroki Akimoto and Ilias Ennahachi are also slated to trade fists at ONE Friday Fights 81.
