Alyona Rassohyna knows that her next fight is a golden ticket to an opportunity that she believes she has unfinished business with.
We haven't seen the Ukrainian compete since all the way back in 2021 where she fought twice under the ONE Championship banner.
Both of her fights that year took place against the same opponent, Thai superstar and reigning ONE atomweight MMA world champion Stamp Fairtex.
After handing the striking specialist a loss in February, Stamp was able to even up the score by taking a split decision victory in the rematch.

Rassohyna returns at ONE Fight Night 27 where she will face Denice Zamboanga on January 10 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Their contest comes with extra stakes due to the fact that the ONE interim atomweight world championship will be on the line with the winner going on to face Stamp once she has returned from injury.
In a recent interview with ONE Championship, Alyona Rassohyna spoke about why she wants to run it back with the three-sport queen and what will be different:
"I think we showed a very competitive fight where I lost by split decision with a score of 2-1. I would finalize some nuances and conclusions I've already made. We have improved and refined our grappling, so I would work more on control and before going to the prize, beat her harder."
Alyona Rassohyna must get past Denice Zamboanga first
Before Alyona Rassohyna can start working on a game plan for a trilogy fight with the world champion, she must get her hand raised on January 10.
Denice Zamboanga also believes that she deserves to face Stamp as they were booked to meet in the main event of ONE 167.
The divisional queen's injury stopped that from happening and now, Zamboanga is looking to make up for the lost time by leaving Bangkok with the gold.
ONE Fight Night 27 will be available to all active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America live in U.S. primetime for free.
