Tawanchai to face Superbon in a championship rematch at ONE 170 on Jan. 24
On Jan. 24, the PK Saenchai Muaythaigym representative is now ready to face Superbon in a championship rematch at the main event of the ONE 170 card inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
Tawanchai drew first blood in their head-to-head matchup in December 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 46 with a majority decision nod from the judges. The 25-year-old striking sensation looks to reassert his mastery over the reigning ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion.
A win for Tawanchai will not only retain his status as the golden standard of the division but also erase all doubts that naysayers have from their close meeting.
Two other world titles are also at stake in the event, as Superlek Kiatmoo9 defends his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai crown against Nico Carrillo, while Fabricio Andrade welcomes the challenge of surging contender Kwon Won Il for the ONE bantamweight MMA world title.
