Belal Muhammad, Jamahal Hill, and other MMA figures gave their take on Roman Kopylov's TKO victory against Chris Curtis at UFC Vegas 101. The majority of them slammed the referee in charge Mark Smith for calling off the fight early.
Curtis took on Kopylov in a middleweight bout on the main card of UFC Vegas 101, which is currently taking place at UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. The two entered the contest with a lot of animosity as Curtis previously accused Kopylov of spying.
The American was coming off a split-decision loss against Brendan Allen at UFC Vegas 90. Meanwhile, Kopylov was on a four-fight win streak before losing to Anthony Hernandez at UFC 298 last year. In his recent octagon appearance at UFC 302, the Russian prevailed over Cesar Almeida via split decision.
In the opening round, Kopylov displayed his strong hands as he landed sharp attacks on Curtis. 'Action-Man' was better off the two fighters, as he was more successful in delivering damage, leading to Kopylov's eye being sliced open.

However, Kopylov gave it his all in the final round, hurting his opponent with crisp combinations. During the last seconds of the bout, the 33-year-old landed a head kick that sent Curtis sprawling to the ground, which prompted Smith to end the fight.
