After beating Sean Brady at UFC 280 last weekend, Belal Muhammad climbed to #4 in the UFC's welterweight division. The 34-year-old leapfrogged Gilbert Burns in the 170lbs division, moving up from No.5 in the rankings.

'Remember the Name' managed to TKO Brady in the second round in Abu Dhabi. This was his first stoppage victory since beating Takashi Sato via submission at UFC 242 in 2019. Muhammad has only won three times via stoppage since joining the organization in 2016, stopping Augusto Montano, Sato and Brady.

Belal Muhammad will likely compete in a big event given his welterweight ranking, and called out Khamzat Chimaev after his UFC 280 victory against Sean Brady.

Muhammad has often poked fun at Conor McGregor, and would seemingly be keen to welcome the former two-weight champion to the welterweight division. The 34-year-old once again made fun of the Irishman yesterday. 'Remember the Name' stated that "Conor sucks and won't win another fight" on Twitter:

"Rewatched the O’Malley yan fight 3 times and I think that at the end of the day Conor sucks [and] won't win another fight."

In August, Belal Muhammad once again took a swipe at McGregor, this time pointing out the Irishman's lack of wins:

"After watching the first episode of the new season of the game of thrones it’s crazy but I’ve come to the realization that Conor mcgregor has one win in 7 years."

How many stoppage wins does Belal Muhammad have in his professional MMA career?

Despite Belal Muhammad now being a top-five welterweight in the UFC, the 34-year-old has lacked stoppage victories during his professional MMA career. Only six of Muhammad's 22 professional wins have come via stoppage.

'Remember the Name' has one win via submission, forcing Takashi Sato to tap after three rounds at UFC 242 in 2019. However, the 34-year-old finished five of his opponents via TKO/KO, starting with Justin Brock on his professional debut.

Muhammad has also stopped Jimmy Fritz, Steve Carl, Augusto Montano and Sean Brady via TKO. 73% of Muhammad's victories have come via decision.
