Belal Muhammad shares seemingly angry yet hilarious take on Khabib Nurmagomedov flight incident

Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the most prominent names in the world of MMA. Owing to his dominant career, he left a mark on the sport and retired as an undefeated fighter in 2020. The famed UFC Hall of Famer was recently deboarded from a flight over a seating issue, prompting a seemingly angry yet funny reaction from UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad.

The 36-year-old Russian was on board a flight of Alaska Airlines at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. Seated right at the emergency exit, Nurmagomedov was reportedly asked by a flight attendant whether he could assist others in case of an emergency since he was seated in the emergency exit row.

The undefeated Dagestani fighter allegedly objected to the behavior of the staff and was later escorted off the plane. As soon as the video of the incident went viral on social media, MMA fans started offering their reactions. Muhammad also jumped onto the bandwagon and expressed his reaction on his X:

"He couldve threw everyone off the plane and flew it himself if he wanted."

Usman Nurmagomedov weighs in on Irish MMA fighters after Khabib Nurmagomedov

Khabib Nurmagomedov recently downplayed Irish MMA fighters in a video, creating an online furor. He made a case for Dagestan for having champions and contenders in the top MMA promotions of the world in contrast to Ireland. Irish UFC superstar Conor McGregor reacted sharply to his views.

Now, Umar Nurmagomedov has weighed in on the subject. Reacting to a question posed by Mike Bohn on MMA Junkie, regarding Irish MMA, the reigning PFL lightweight champion said:

"If we’re talking about levels, of course, we can talk a lot, but we have facts, Bellator champion, some Irish have Bellator champions? No. PFL, no. UFC, no. In PFL, we have champions, in Bellator we have champions – and not only one. In PFL, we have two or three. In Bellator, we have two or three, and in the UFC, soon Umar will be the second one, and Islam Makhachev we have. If we talk only about sport, MMA, Dagestan, Russia, we’re different level."

While clarifying that his comments are limited to MMA and not any nation, he further added:

"But other things, I don’t want to talk or touch about people or nation. Some people don’t understand, when you say, like, level different, they start talking sh*t, you know? This is not good. We’re not talking about a nation or something."
