Belal Muhammad has called out UFC president Dana White for advocating for Colby Covington following UFC San Diego.
Ever since Leon Edwards defended his belt against Kamaru Usman, there has been a lot of debate surrounding who will fight the Brit next. There are a number of challengers waiting in line. However, Colby Covington seems to have skipped the queue despite being inactive for over a year and is now the favorite. Muhammad called out White for his comments, saying:
"I’m getting real Paul heyman - Brock lesnar vibes when he’s trying to sell why colby deserves it"

Current welterweight champion Leon Edwards himself believes Colby Covington does not deserve the title shot next due to his inactivity. Belal Muhammad earlier also spoke about how Covington is getting 'Dana White Privilege' in a since-deleted tweet. UFC commentator Jon Anik is another prominent voice who does not believe 'Chaos' has done enough to earn a title shot.
Dana White's reasoning as to why Colby Covington deserves the next title shot is that if Kamaru Usman did not exist, the American would have been the champion. Following the UFC San Diego event, White openly stated that Covington is the favorite for the title shot.

Belal Muhammad wants to go to Miami and make Colby Covington apologize to Jon Anik
Belal Muhammad has stated that he wants to go to Miami and make Colby Covington apologize to Jon Anik for the death threats he made. The UFC commentator sided with Muhammad when the welterweight stated that 'Chaos' does not deserve the next title shot. Covington was furious to see Anik siding with Muhammad and issued a death threat to him.
Per Marc Raimondi, Muhammad wants to make Covington apologize:
"I wanna go to Miami and make Colby apologize to Jon Anik. The same way Khabib walked up to Artem (Lobov) and slapped him."

Muhammad stated the example of Khabib Nurmagomedov who walked up to Artem Lobov and slapped the Russian during his 'beef' with Conor McGregor. Lobov was very close to McGregor and did his share of trash-talking. 'The Eagle' took matters into his own hands and slapped the Russian. 'Remember The Name' wants to replicate that with Colby Covington.
