For years, Belal Muhammad has been honing his skills alongside Khabib Nurmagomedov and his Dagestani team. With his impressive win streak, there's no doubt that the fighter is reaping the rewards of their training.

In a recent interview with Michael Bisping, the welterweight fighter stated that he has no intention of leaving his Dagestani training partners. 'Remember My Name' went on to explain on the podcast that he has planned to fly to the Russian Republic whenever he is scheduled for a fight in the near future.

Sharing his plan, the 34-year-old said:

"Once I get something booked... we're already planning on... trying to go to Dagestan... My guys from down here to go down there and train with them. That was the beautiful thing too, is like I had Jared Gordon come down and like they opened the doors."

He continued:

"It wasn't like... like they were so cool to all my training partners that they came to Abu Dhabi with me. Every single guy was cool in there. There was nobody in there trying to hurt you or embarrass you or mak you look bad. I definitely want to stay a part of the [Dagestani] team."

Belal Muhammad wants to go up against Khamzat Chimaev and Leon Edwards at upcoming UFC London event

UFC welterweight Belal Muhammad has expressed his desire to compete against Khamzat Chimaev and Leon Edwards at the upcoming UFC London event. Muhammad is currently on an eight-fight win streak and is looking to make a statement against two of the promotion's top contenders.

In a recent interview, Muhammad stated that these two fighters are the ones he wants to face next:

"Chimaev is still trying to figure out how to lose weight, get down to 170, I don't think he's gonna figure that out. So I think the only thing that really makes sense now is me against Leon for the title, otherwise, you can put me and Chimaev on the same card in London. I'll fight him at 179.8 or whatever he came at [for his fight against Kevin Holland earlier this year] and then we can do that for a number one contender fight... Yeah, I'm gonna be there [in London], wherever the title is, that's where I want to be."

Belal Muhammad has been on an impressive unbeaten streak since suffering a loss to Geoff Neal in 2019. The fighter's pro record stands at 22 wins, with five of those coming via knockouts and one via submission. His striking skills have been further highlighted by his recent TKO victory over previously undefeated Sean Brady, showcasing his improved technique.

With that being the case, it will definitely be interesting to see if the UFC shows interest in booking him off against any of the two welterweight stars for the upcoming London event.
