Aaron Jeffery recently shared a memory of his friend, the late Elias Theodorou, as he prepares to return to the cage this Friday at Bellator 293.
While speaking to Vibe 105.5FM Toronto, Jeffery talked about the kind of person Theodorou was to everybody he interacted with. He recalled the former TUF winner being supportive of him when he came up short on Dana White's Contender Series.
He said:
"It was after my last Contender Series fight. He came down to Vegas to do some training - he was getting ready for a fight - I just had my fight and I lost and I could tell that he was so heartbroken for me, he so badly wanted me to succeed." [7:57 - 8:10]

The No.7 ranked Bellator middleweight also shared that it was his final memory of 'The Mane Event', who passed away in September 2022. He recalled that they both went to a buffet and described what Theodorou ate and mentioned that he left a lasting impression on everybody he met, saying:
"We went to the MGM Grand buffet. This guy ate like I don't know 30 waffles...He must have eaten like 20 cups of sryup. But yeah, he was a great guy, man. Like you said, you only met him the one time, but you meet the guy once and you just know his energy into any room he was in." [8:17 - 8:46]
Jeffery's memory of 'The Mane Event' shows that he was a positive influence on his teammates and friends.

When is Aaron Jeffery fighting next?
Aaron Jeffery will have a great opportunity when he fights John Salter this Friday at Bellator 293.
The Canadian is currently riding a three-fight winning streak and is unbeaten since joining the promotion. He most recently earned a decisive first-round TKO win over former title challenger Austin Vanderford, which resulted in him getting into the top-10.
The No.7 ranked middleweight can get himself one step closer to a title fight should he extend his winning streak to 4 straight and earn a decisive win over another former title challenger and veteran like Salter.
