Usman Nurmagomedov, the reigning Bellator Lightweight World Champion, will make his third title defense this weekend when he faces Alexander Shabliy in the main event of Bellator Champions Series: San Diego. The highly anticipated bout is set to take place on Sept. 7, at Pechanga Arena.
Nurmagomedov enters the fight with a perfect 17-0 record and will be looking to bounce back from his previous fight with Brent Primus, which was ruled a no-contest due to an adverse drug test result.
