MMA fans voiced their thoughts about the design of Ilia Topuria's custom shorts for UFC 308. Several combat sports outlets recently posted videos of Topuria's shorts on their social media accounts. The comments section of those posts showcased that fans were impressed by the design.
Topuria will face Max Holloway for his first featherweight title defense at UFC 308 on Oct. 26. Starting from UFC 300, the UFC authorities have presented several fighters with customized shorts. Dana White and Co. also didn't miss out on maintaining this tradition for their first-ever Spanish champion.
The print and color of Topuria's custom shorts showcased that the designers did justice to his moniker and nationality. Its red-and-gold color portrays Topuria's Spanish nationality, while the "charging bull" print solidifies his 'El Matador' moniker.

Ilia Topuria warns Max Holloway about neutralizing his only potential challenge
Ilia Topuria has been extremely confident about a victory throughout the buildup of his UFC 308 main event battle. But recently, he considered that Max Holloway can pose a threat to him in only one way.
In an interview with SHAK MMA, Topuria mentioned that Holloway will have his best chance to win if he manages to take the fight to the later rounds and then put pressure on him. However, the Georgian-Spaniard also expressed that he has enough cardio to thwart this strategy.
"The only chance he thinks he has is maybe to go into the third, fourth, or fifth round, make me feel tired, and then put pressure on me. But, that's never going to happen. I have oxygen not just for five rounds, I can be there for 10 or 15 rounds [too]. [But] the thing is, he can't."
