UFC 311 has begun to take shape as the first pay-per-view of 2025 is just over a month away. The card, which is set to take place on January 18 at Intuit Dome, will mark the promotion's first event in Inglewood, California, since UFC 232 in 2018.

A lightweight bout was recently added to the already stacked card as Beneil Dariush is set to take on Renato Moicano. MMA Orbit shared the news on Thursday, tweeting:

"🚨 UFC 311 GETS EVEN BETTER 🚨 🔥 Beneil Dariush will take on Renato Moicano at #UFC311 on January 18th."

UFC 311 set to be headlined by two title fights

UFC CEO Dana White announced that UFC 311 will have two title fights on Wednesday. The promotional frontman took to X to reveal that Islam Makhachev will defend his lightweight title when he faces Arman Tsarukyan in the main event. Meanwhile, Merab Dvalishvili will look for his first bantamweight title defense against Umar Nurmagomedov in the co-main event.

UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov hinted that he will corner both fighters back-to-back. Championship Rounds shared a screenshot of the UFC Hall of Famer's comments, tweeting:

Makhachev will be looking for his fourth lightweight title defense in the bout. That would break a tie with Nurmagomedov, B.J. Penn, Frankie Edgar, and Benson Henderson for most title defenses in divisional history.
