“Next fight coming for Demetrious Johnson he’s got Adriano Moraes. That fight will be very very good, I’m excited to see that fight. And DJ and Adriano Moraes they fought already two times.”
Johnson and Moraes currently hold a win over one another, with both competitors landing devastating knees to get the finish.
In their first meeting in April 2021, Moraes was able to cause the upset by defending his flyweight world title against the Grand Prix champion. Becoming the first man to stop DJ, Moraes proved himself to be an elite fighter.
In their rematch at ONE on Prime Video 1, Johnson got his revenge by beating Moraes to become the flyweight world champion, landing a flying knee that produced one of the best finishes of the year.

‘Mighty Mouse’ Demetrious Johnson and ‘Mikinho’ Adriano Moraes are set to close out their trilogy by headlining ONE Championship’s debut in the USA.
On May 5, ONE on Prime Video 10 will touch down in Colorado with a huge main event. The third fight between all-time MMA great Demetrious Johnson and former champion Adriano Moraes will be nothing short of spectacular if their previous two fights are anything to go on.
With Johnson’s flyweight world title on the line, the fight was always going to be a huge deal for the fans after the way their two previous fights ended.
Fans showed their excitement in the comments below ONE Championship’s post announcing the fight:
Long-time Demetrious Johnson fan Conner Neill commented:
"Let’s gooo champ!! You have always been my favorite since you were the ufc flyweight champion and my inspiration for me being a small guy and wrestling and doing jitsu at 125 that us small guys can still dominate just like the big guys but also being an amazing person. Let’s gooo Mighty Mouse!!!"
With both fighters previously winning via knee knockout, ONE Championship fan CJ Evans added:
"Of course. Maybe we will get a double KO from flying knees."
Jiu-jitsu player Jacob Shariq is incredibly grateful to have his trilogy booked, he said:
"Best trilogy ever. I'm so excited for the simultaneous double knee KO where we go to replay to see who gets the belt."
