Like many fans before him, Bibiano Fernandes witnessed the highly anticipated world title fight between Lineker and Andrade end without a sense of satisfaction. The bantamweight showdown between John Lineker and Fabricio Andrade had everyone on the edge of their seats.
Going into the third round, it became apparent Andrade was only seconds away from securing the victory until he landed a good knee to the body followed by another accidental knee to the groin.
As fans witnessed, Lineker couldn’t continue even after being given five minutes to recover. The judges waved the bout as a no-contest which didn’t sit well with the fans who booed loudly from the stands.
Bibiano Fernandes remembered how the event ended and expressed his dissatisfaction with ONE Championship by saying:

“Fabrício was doing well in the fight, but he actually landed his knee on Lineker's groin. The result was not what everyone expected.”
Fortunately, Andrade can run it back as ONE Championship booked a date for their rematch on Friday, February 10 at ONE on Prime Video 7.
Fans hope Andrade gets to redeem himself after delivering a near-perfect finish in the first match.
With so much excitement ahead, the critical question to keep in mind is, who will be the next man for Fabricio Andrade if he becomes the new king of the division? Will it be Bibiano Fernandes or Stephen Loman?
