MMA fans have been reacting to rumors that the UFC is potentially working on booking Conor McGregor vs. Ilia Topuria. It comes on the wake of UFC CEO Dana White's cryptic comments about a massive fight announcement in 2025.

Following last weekend's UFC Tampa event, White spoke to the media at the post-fight presser. After first answering questions about the card, White then dropped a bombshell teaser regarding a huge fight he hopes to announce next year.

“I got something in the works that you will never f***ing see coming, for 2025, that literally started coming together last night.”

While Dana White didn't mention any fighter specifically, a section of MMA fans believe he was referring to booking Conor McGregor's octagon return against Ilia Topuria. 'El Matador' has been interested in facing the Irishman for a number of months and recently revealed his plans to move up to the lightweight division.

Despite nothing yet being confirmed, fans are already letting their thoughts be known on the potential superfight, with one fan claiming to work for the UFC. They wrote:

Dana White shares update on Dustin Poirier's next fight

Alongside dropping a teaser about a huge fight coming up in 2025, Dana White also shared some details about what could prove to be Dustin Poirier's final fight in the promotion.

'The Diamond' has spoken candidly about his future in the recent months and stated he's close to hanging up his gloves in order to spend time with his family. After coming up short for the lightweight title against Islam Makhachev, Poirier has expressed his desire to fight one final time.

Whilst no opponent or date has been confirmed, White spoke to the press at UFC Tampa last weekend and confirmed they are in talks with Poirier to secure his last fight. He said:

"We're in the middle of talks for him with something that he wants to do for the end of his career."
