In the promotion's first major event since June, BKFC 63 will be headlined by women's strawweight champion Britain Hart defending her title against former flyweight title challenger Taylor Starling. As two of the biggest female bare-knuckle stars, Hart and Starling have long been on each other's radars and have developed a small rivalry on social media.
The event will mark the promotion's inaugural show in Sturgis, South Dakota on Aug. 3 and will stream live on the BKFC app through BKFC+. Hart and Starling will be the lone championship fight of the night and the final of 10 fights on the card.
Hart, 10-1 in BKFC, has been the promotion's second-most successful female fighter behind women's flyweight champion Christine Ferea. The 34-year-old transitioned to bare-knuckle in 2020 after realizing minimal success in MMA and gained notoriety in her second fight with a decision win over Paige VanZant.

Starling has not been as successful as Hart but has the most social media followers of any female fighter in BKFC. 'The Killer Bee' owns a 5-2 record in bare-knuckle and enters her second title fight off a win over Jenny Clausius, who beat her in an MMA fight in 2019.
